Twin Cities Treble, founded in September 2025, was created to offer young adult singers a meaningful musical home at a time in life when structured opportunities often disappear. Many people lose access to ensemble spaces after high school or college, and our goal is to rebuild that sense of belonging by providing a consistent, community centered environment for women identifying treble singers in their 20s and 30s.

As a new ensemble, we are intentionally shaping our culture with collaboration, kindness, and accountability at the core. Joining TCT means contributing to the development of a group that values both musicianship and connection. Members play an active role in decision making, repertoire planning, and the direction of our future growth. There is space for every voice to matter and for the ensemble to evolve in ways that reflect the people within it.

TCT is also committed to engaging with the broader Twin Cities community. We rehearse regularly, perform contemporary repertoire, and participate in volunteer and outreach events, including senior home performances, community programs, and local partnerships. Our mission is to create high quality music while sharing that joy in places where it can make a positive impact.

Twin Cities Treble is available for a wide range of engagements, including community events, concerts, showcases, ceremonies, private functions, and volunteer opportunities throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding areas. We are able to perform acoustically or with microphones if your venue provides equipment, and we can tailor our set length to fit the needs of your audience.

Twin Cities Treble is a treble voiced ensemble made up of women identifying singers in their 20s and 30s. We welcome auditionees who see themselves reflected in this space and feel at home in a community centered on treble voices. There are no prerequisites for music experience, sight reading ability, or past performance background. We look for singers who love music, value collaboration, and want to be part of a supportive young adult community.

Members must live close enough to the Twin Cities to reliably attend rehearsals, performances, and volunteer events. If auditions are not currently open, we maintain a waitlist and reach out when openings arise or when short notice auditions become available.

Twin Cities Treble holds auditions at the start of our fall and spring seasons. our primary audition periods. In rare cases, if an unexpected opening occurs or if we need to rebalance voice parts, we may hold additional auditions mid-season on a case by case basis.

If auditions are not currently open, you can request to be added to our waitlist! Individuals on the waitlist receive a personal email notification when auditions are expected to reopen or when short notice opportunities become available.

When auditions are open, you can submit through our audition form, which collects information about your voice, background, and availability. The audition includes a short video of you singing a verse and chorus of a pop song so we can hear tone, range, and musicality. If you beatbox, you may include a short sample as well. After reviewing submissions, our members vote, and selected singers may be invited to an in person callback. Callbacks allow us to hear how your voice blends with the ensemble and to complete a short range check as needed. Final decisions are based on ensemble needs, balance of voice parts, availability, and overall fit.
