TWIN CITIES

Twin Cities Treble was founded in September 2025 to create a musical home for young adult singers at a time when structured ensemble opportunities often disappear. We provide women-identifying treble singers in their 20s and 30s a place to continue making music, build community, and have an active voice in the ensemble they’re part of.What makes TCT different is the balance of musicianship, community, and collaboration. Members help shape our repertoire, culture, and future while working together to create high-quality contemporary a cappella. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we also take our music beyond the rehearsal room through performances, outreach, senior living communities, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships throughout the Twin Cities.

Twin Cities Treble performs contemporary a cappella music arranged for treble voices, with a repertoire centered around pop and modern favorites. Every part of our sound is created using our voices, from melody and harmony to bass lines, rhythm, and vocal percussion. Our repertoire changes and grows each season, giving us the opportunity to explore different artists, styles, and sounds while creating performances that are energetic, engaging, and distinctly TCT.

Twin Cities Treble performs throughout the Twin Cities at community events, local venues, senior living communities, special events, and other public and private performances. We also produce our own showcase, giving audiences the opportunity to experience a full-length TCT performance featuring music from our current repertoire.Upcoming performances, including our showcase, are announced on our website and social media with dates, locations, ticket information, and everything you need to join us.

Twin Cities Treble is a treble-voiced ensemble made up of women-identifying singers in their 20s and 30s. We welcome auditionees who see themselves reflected in this space and feel at home in a community centered on treble voices. There are no prerequisites for musical experience, sight-reading ability, or past performance background. We look for singers who love music, value collaboration, and want to be part of a supportive young adult community.Members must live close enough to the Twin Cities to reliably attend rehearsals, performances, and volunteer events and be able to commit to being an active part of the ensemble. Membership is audition-based, with openings varying by voice part and the needs of the group. If auditions aren’t currently open, you can join our audition waitlist to be among the first to hear when openings arise, including any short-notice audition opportunities.

Twin Cities Treble holds auditions as openings become available within the ensemble. Because our needs can vary throughout the year, we may audition for specific voice parts or vocal percussion depending on the current makeup of the group. Our audition process is designed to get to know you as both a singer and a potential member of TCT. We’re not looking for a specific level of experience, and you don’t need a background in a cappella, sight-reading, or formal vocal training to audition. Audition details, including what to prepare, important dates, and any current openings, will be shared when each audition cycle is announced. When auditions are closed, you can join our audition waitlist to be among the first to know when the next cycle opens or if a short-notice opening becomes available. We also announce audition opportunities on our website and social media.

Support can take many forms, including sponsorships, in-kind donations, collaborative events, performance opportunities, volunteer partnerships, and other creative ways of working together. You can also support TCT simply by attending a performance or showcase, following and sharing our work, and helping introduce our music to new audiences.
